How to use
- Enter billable hours and total hours worked for the period.
- Enter your target utilization and, optionally, your billing rate.
- Read utilization, the hours needed to hit the target, and revenue figures.
Worked example: 28 billable of 40
Utilization = 28 ÷ 40 × 100 = 70%. A 75% target on 40 hours is 30 billable hours, so the gap is 2 hours.
At $150.00 per hour the 28 hours bill $4,200.00 and the 2-hour gap is $300.00 of revenue left on the table this week.
