How to use
- Enter your usual hours and days per week.
- Enter vacation weeks and paid holiday days you take off each year.
- Read the yearly total, the monthly and weekly averages, and the number of working days.
Worked example: A standard full-time year
40 hours a week for 52 weeks is 2,080 hours. With 2 weeks of vacation and 10 paid holidays of 8 hours each: 40 × (52 − 2) − 10 × 8 = 2,000 − 80 = 1,920 hours worked.
That is 160 hours a month on average and 240 working days: 50 weeks × 5 days − 10 holidays.
