How to use
- Type each punch as digits: 830, 1715, 2230. The parser reads 7 to 11 as AM and 12 to 6 as PM; add a or p to override.
- Add extra shifts on split days and enter break minutes per day.
- Pick the overtime preset and rounding in Options, add a rate and export or print the card.
Worked example: A split shift under the federal rule
Monday: 600 to 1000 and 1600 to 2000 is two 4-hour shifts, 8 hours. Tuesday to Friday 8 hours each with a 30-minute break typed as 30 gives 7.5 each, total for the week 38 hours.
Saturday 900 to 1600 adds 7 hours, for 45 hours. Under the Federal preset 40 are regular and 5 are overtime. At $18.00 that is $720.00 + 5 × $27.00 = $855.00.

How many shifts per day?
Unlimited. Each day starts with one in/out pair; add more for split shifts.
Which overtime rules are available?
Federal 40/week, California 8/12 daily with the 7th-day rule, Alaska, Nevada, Colorado, none, and custom daily, double-time and weekly thresholds.
How does rounding work here?
Each punch is rounded to the nearest 5, 6, 10 or 15 minutes (7-minute rule). The unrounded total is shown alongside.
